Andrea Corsini

I was born in Italy in 1980. Love for art in general and a great passion for movies motivated me to work in video and film production. In 2011 I produced, written and directed my first short movie "Not In My Backyard" with Paolo Briguglia and Giorgio Carminati. It was selected in more than thirty festivals and won Garda International Film Festival, as well as the Jury Prize at Sardinia Film Festival. Subsequently, I moved to Berlin for a period of two years, joining a filmmaker collective and working as a producer on several short movies and commercials. I also turned my hand to directing music videos, including those of Francesco Renga, Irene Fornaciari and Fratelli Quintale. Over the last few years, I have worked as a producer and AD in several productions, including Virus (Tv Series produced by Rai Movie), Andarevia (feature film produced by Rai Cinema). I was also 2nd AD on the feature film Anime Nere (Dark Souls) directed by Francesco Munzi and presented at the 70th Venice International Film Festival. I continue to work between Berlin, London, Rome, Barcelona and Milan, where I have directed several music videos (including Jules Not Jude’s "Pillowlize", winner at Ibiza Music Video Award, and A Copy For Collapse’s "Grey Sunday", selected at Trenton Art All Night Film Festival), as well as a number of commercials (Kimko, Autogrill, Cameo, DePadova, Banca Popolare di Milano, Uber). I currently live and work in Milan as a director, and am developing my debut feature film "Seems To Know About Me". It was a finalist at InProgress2017, a film development program for the Milan Film Network.
