Luca Jankovic

Luca graduated in Media and Marketing in 2010, earned a degree in Digital Filmmaking at the SAE Institute in Milan in 2012 with the short film "Incontri". In 2013 he realized his first independent short film entitled "La Vergine delle rocce", set at the Cimitero Monumentale in Milan. In 2015 he completed his second short film, based on a poem of Guido Catalano: "The man who had begun to die"; This short film also participates in several international festivals and was distributed for tv France 3 Corse. Since 2013 he has been working as a freelance filmmaker with different Italian Commercials Companies and comparing with international customers and brands. From 2016 to 2017, he wrote the series of shorts "I Mostri 2.0" inspired by the cult movie "I Mostri" by Dino Risi. In 2017 opened the production company Box Vision and started the production of the same series with the collaboration of other directors and their respective factories. Each director develops and directs a single short film, Luca directs "Il Salutista". These shorts participate in prestigious international festivals winning several prizes, including the Rome Film Festival, the Benevento Film Festival, the FICMA, the Aesthetica Film Festival, L'Hiroshima 2018, the Anima Mundi, Il Cortolovere, and many many others. In 2018 he writes and directs together with Marco Pellegrino the short film "Moths to flame" filmed in english and starring David Menkin, an actor who has worked on several Holliwood's productions and David Callahan. The short is presented in world premiere at the Rome Film Festival 2018 and Won the "Studio Universal Distribution Award". Also in 2018 he wrote together with Mattia Lunardi the short film "Sclero derma Domesticus" which was directed by Mattia. The short tries to develop the unfortunately current issue of domestic violence.
