Federico Badiali earned an MA in Communication from the University of Turin, Italy. He is recognized as an eclectic and deeply passionate cinematic storyteller, with hands-on expertise in every stage of film production. With over 30 years of experience in cinema, television, and commercial advertising across Europe and the United States, Federico has directed and collaborated on hundreds of projects for major international brands. He continues to work as a freelance director for Mediaset, one of Italy’s leading television networks, contributing to a wide range of programs and productions. His credits include directing the entire first season of the Italian children’s TV series La Piccola Libreria Vagante, where he employed cutting-edge camera tracking and virtual studio technologies to craft an innovative visual language. Alongside his ongoing work in television and advertising, Federico develops independent creative projects. He is currently working on the experimental short film N=1 and his debut feature film Surfing Sicily: Live Fearlessly, which has already received a formal expression of interest for distribution from Medusa Film.
