Luca 'Picapau' Nicolosi
Luca "Picapau" Nicolosi is an award-winning, Sicilian film director, born in Catania (Sicily, Italy) in 1997. He moved to Rome where he attended Sapienza University and graduated in Cinema Studies with honors in 2019. During that year he wrote and directed "Daimon", the first episode of the main fantasy-horror short film "Tales of a Falling Man". His short film won multiple awards and attention, nationally and - above all - internationally, especially in the US, where it won several awards such as Best Picture, Best International Short, Best Fantasy Short, and Best Special Make-Up. In 2020 Luca moved to Milan to switch and work in the fashion and advertising industries, dealing with clients such as Paco Rabanne, MaxMara, Bvlgari, Vogue, and Philipp Plein. He is an active member of AIR3 (Italian Directors Guild). In 2022 he directed the fashion film "The Euforia Waltz" starring Zendaya in collaboration with Vogue and Bvlgari. He is currently based between Paris and Milan.
